Latifa GAHBICHE, CEO Chep France & Maroc
With sustainable development as CHEP’s guiding value, the CSR department takes a range of initiatives to rally staff around them, explains Latifa Gahbiche, CEO of Chep France and Chep Morocco: "I set great store by the fact that CSR is not just the responsibility of Senior Management, but on the contrary, that this strategy takes employees right out where it’s really happening".
With lockdown ending and to mark European Sustainable Development Week 2020, CHEP decided to set up the CiviTime Serious Game to familiarise its employees with sustainable development and enable them to get to grips with the various pillars of their CSR strategy.
« You quickly get into the game, almost like an addiction :) I learnt lots of things about CHEP’s CSR policy, it was an entertaining and fun experience! »
Supported by project managers, graphic designers and our game designers, CHEP’s CSR team conjured up its virtual ecosystem by depicting its internal stakeholders.
Immersed in the virtual workplace of their company, CHEP employees took on team challenges to find out their company’s CSR pledges. Their mission? They had 3 weeks to make their virtual company and its ecosystem as responsible and virtuous as possible.
